Job Summary

The Senior Transport Officer will oversee, coordinate, and manage all transport operations to ensure efficient, safe, reliable, and timely transportation of passengers and luggage.

Job Details

• Position: Senior Transport Officer

• Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
• Reports to: Operations Manager / Transport Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily transport operations.
• Manage and monitor drivers’ performance and discipline.
• Prepare and monitor bus schedules and transport routes.
• Ensure buses are roadworthy and properly maintained.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repair activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Transport Management or Logistics.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of transport operations and fleet management.
• Ability to prepare reports and manage staff.
